Hex Warlords is a turn-based strategy game where you conquer a map one hex at a time and transform a small province into a powerful kingdom. Every territory you capture increases your income, giving you more gold to spend on troops, farms, and defensive towers. Expand carefully, strengthen your army, and decide when to attack rival provinces.
With a combination of territory management, unit progression, and tactical combat, every move can shape the future of your kingdom. To play, select one of your tiles or units and then click or tap an adjacent hex to move, claim territory, or attack an opponent. Unit ranks determine the outcome of battles, with a higher-ranked unit defeating a lower-ranked one.
Two units with the same rank can be merged into a stronger fighter, allowing you to gradually build a more powerful army. Units at the maximum rank can eliminate each other, so even your strongest forces must be used strategically. Gold is essential for expanding your kingdom and maintaining your military. Spend it on new troops and useful buildings, but keep an eye on your economy because every unit has an upkeep cost that is paid each turn.
Farms increase your army limit, allowing you to maintain a larger force, while defensive towers help protect valuable territory from enemy attacks. Workers can also be assigned to mines to generate additional income, although you can return them to the battlefield whenever you need extra reinforcements.
Every turn gives you opportunities to expand, merge units, attack enemies, and improve your economy. Once you have completed your actions, press the next-turn button and watch the situation develop. Rival kingdoms will continue competing for territory, so balance aggressive expansion with a strong defense and a sustainable income. Capture enemy lands and gradually eliminate their provinces until there are no rival territories left standing.
