Cosmos: Battle the Galaxy is an open-world multiplayer space sandbox where you decide what kind of pilot you want to become. Choose your race, customize your ship, explore distant star systems, travel through energy gates, trade resources, complete quests, and encounter NPCs and other players across a living galaxy. Whether you want to become a wealthy trader, fearless explorer, skilled engineer, or powerful combat pilot, there are many different ways to build your own adventure.
Begin your journey by exploring the vast cosmos and discovering new star systems, stations, gates, and points of interest. Travel between locations using energy gates and search for valuable resources, hidden opportunities, and new destinations. Upgrade your engines and other equipment to improve your ship and reach more distant areas.
The galaxy is open for exploration, allowing you to choose your own routes and decide where your next journey will take you. Trading and resource gathering provide alternative ways to earn money and improve your ship. Buy goods at lower prices, transport them between systems, and sell them where demand is higher.
If you prefer working with raw materials, become a miner or scavenger and collect valuable ore, resources, and machine debris. Use what you earn to purchase better equipment, unlock new possibilities, and develop a ship suited to your chosen play style. Combat is another major part of the galaxy. Hunt NPC enemies, complete combat missions, collect loot, and fight increasingly dangerous opponents. You can also challenge other players in PvP battles and create a specialized combat ship designed for space combat.
Engineers can experiment with weapons, power management, reactors, shields, engines, and special modules to create unique configurations. Smugglers can take on higher-risk opportunities by transporting contraband, weapons, stims, and other valuable goods between systems. Build a trading vessel, exploration ship, mining setup, or powerful combat machine and change your configuration as your adventure develops.
