Five Nights at Freddy's: Night Shift is a tense survival horror game where you take on the role of a night guard working through five increasingly dangerous nights. What begins as a quiet shift quickly turns into a terrifying fight for survival when the animatronics leave their usual positions and begin moving through the building. Your job is to monitor their movements, manage the security systems, and make it safely from midnight until 6 AM without letting anything reach the office.

Use the security cameras to keep track of the different animatronics as they move around the building. Each one can behave differently, so paying attention to their positions and movement patterns is essential. Check the corridors and other dark areas with your flashlight, and close the office doors whenever an animatronic gets too close. You never know when something might move, so stay alert and be ready to react quickly when danger approaches.

Power management is one of the biggest challenges during every shift. Your cameras, doors, lights, and other security systems all consume electricity, and your supply is limited. Using everything constantly may leave you without enough power later in the night. Decide when you really need to check the cameras or activate the doors, and try to conserve electricity whenever the situation is safe. You will also need to turn on the fan when necessary to prevent the office from overheating.

Things become more difficult as the nights progress. New nights bring more active animatronics, unexpected events, system malfunctions, and additional problems that can make your security routine much harder. When something breaks down, you need to deal with the malfunction while still keeping an eye on the animatronics.

A moment of hesitation or a poorly timed decision can leave you vulnerable to a sudden jumpscare. Your ultimate goal is to survive all five nights and make it through every shift until 6 AM. Monitor the cameras, use your flashlight wisely, control the doors, conserve your electricity, repair malfunctions, and stay prepared for unexpected events.
