Protecting it is your top priority because once the generator falls, your defense collapses. The gameplay focuses heavily on tactical positioning and real-time command. You can move units across the battlefield, send them to strategic locations, and react instantly to zombie attacks. Choosing where your squad stands can mean the difference between survival and defeat, especially when enemies begin attacking from multiple directions.
Each unit has unique abilities and strengths that can be activated during combat. Some soldiers are better at crowd control, while others specialize in defense or high damage output. Learning how to combine abilities and position units effectively becomes essential as the zombie hordes grow larger and more aggressive. As the game progresses, new zombie types appear with different behaviors and attack patterns. Fast zombies can overwhelm weak defenses, armored enemies absorb heavy damage, and special infected units force you to constantly rethink your strategy. Old tactics eventually stop working, encouraging players to experiment and adapt continuously.
Upgrades play a major role in long-term survival. Resources collected during battles can be used to strengthen units, unlock new skills, and improve your squad’s effectiveness. Smart upgrades help you survive later waves and prepare for increasingly difficult encounters. The controls are simple and accessible across all devices. Use the mouse on desktop or touch controls on mobile to command units, issue orders, reposition squads, and activate special abilities during battle.
