Battle Fleet World is a persistent online naval combat game where players take command of warships in a single shared ocean that never resets. Unlike traditional match-based games, there are no lobbies, rounds, or timers—every action takes place in a continuous world where the consequences of combat, exploration, and survival are permanent.
You begin your journey as the captain of a fast and agile Destroyer, navigating a vast open sea filled with danger, opportunity, and other players. Every ship you encounter is controlled by another player or functions as an active threat, meaning that every journey beyond the port is unpredictable and potentially high risk. Encounters are emergent rather than scripted, creating a dynamic environment shaped entirely by player behavior.
A defining feature of Battle Fleet World is its high-stakes persistence system. If your ship is destroyed in battle, you do not simply respawn with full progress intact. Instead, your vessel is partially restored at port, but you lose all carried Scrap, equipped items, and remaining ammunition. This makes survival and retreat as important as combat itself, encouraging careful decision-making during every engagement.
The core resource in the game is Scrap, which fuels all progression. Scrap can be collected from destroyed ships, floating debris, and containers scattered across the ocean. However, any Scrap carried onboard is at risk until it is safely deposited at port or converted into money. This creates constant tension between pushing deeper into dangerous waters for greater rewards or returning early to secure your gains.
Controls are designed for both precision and accessibility. Use WASD or Arrow Keys for ship movement, the mouse to aim turrets and control the camera, the scroll wheel to zoom, Shift for binocular view, M for the world map, and P for the menu. Docking is performed by entering port zones and pressing E.
