Neon Defense is an exciting roguelike tower defense game that combines strategic decision-making, active upgrades, and permanent progression in a stylish neon world. Protect your core from relentless waves of geometric enemies while building a powerful defense capable of surviving increasingly difficult challenges. Every run gives you new opportunities to experiment with different strategies, strengthen your tower, and push further than before.
Your tower automatically attacks incoming enemies, allowing you to focus on making important tactical decisions during every wave. Earn cash by defeating enemies and spend it on upgrades that improve damage, defense, attack speed, survivability, Lifesteal, Thorns, and many other statistics. With more than 15 upgradeable stats available, you can create an aggressive damage-focused build, a defensive setup, or a creative combination designed around powerful synergies.
Every run is different thanks to the roguelike progression system. When you defeat enemies and complete challenging waves, you can earn valuable fragments that unlock permanent Talents. These upgrades remain available between runs, allowing your future attempts to become stronger and more rewarding. You can also unlock wave checkpoints, giving you the opportunity to begin future runs from previously conquered boss waves and continue pushing toward higher levels.
As the waves progress, you'll encounter enemies with unique abilities that require you to adapt your strategy. Protectors reduce incoming damage, Rays attack from a distance, and Scatters split into additional enemies when defeated. Vampires can drain health and sustain themselves, while powerful bosses challenge your build with dangerous abilities. Choosing the right upgrades and adapting your defenses is essential for surviving the toughest encounters.
