One day madame Adelaide has decided to make all things necessary for her inheritance and leave it to her cats until their death and from then on to Edgar, the butler. Edgar has listened to all the conversation without them even realizing it and has decided to end the kittens life and get the fortune as soon as possible for himself. He put up a plan to steal the kittens and drop them somewhere far far away, so that they may never find their way back. While Madame Adelaide discovers their absence, the mama cat and her kittens try to find their way back home with the help of an alley cat named Thomas O’Malley. The group of cats have part of great adventures and obstacles such as little Marie falling in a river, and Thomas bravely rescue her. The cats find their way to Paris where they meet the friends of Thomas , Scat Cat and his musicians and spend the night together celebrating the fact that they have arrived to Paris. Once the cats find their way back home, Edgar tries again to get rid of them but instead he gets himself delivered with the help of the other animals from the house. Madame Adelaide decided to exclude him from the will and adopts Thomas O’malley. She later on decided to make her house , a charity foundation for stray cats and lives a happy life along with her favourite pets.
