The tiles are from 1 to 100 and your mission is of course to be the first one to reach the 100^th tile. Of course that if you choose the survival mode of playing, your mission is going to be the same but you will have other little challenges, for example you will have some question marks on the game which can give you bonus help or that can make you lose some points or advantages. And in the survival mode you are also playing against ghosts and if you land on the same tile as them, you can loose the game.
 
And now why the game is called Snakes and Ladders, well that is because on the board on which there are all the tiles from 1 to 100, there are also some ladders which can help you go up more quicker, but there are also snakes and if you land on those tiles you will slide down.
