One of the bars is usually free but even if it is not free, you will have to figure out how to keep moving the hoops from one bar to another until they all have been sorted by color.
 
As you advance with the levels, you will have more hoops of more colors to sort out and the coins that you can win in a level will also increase, so the better you do in a level, the more coins you will get, so you will be able to spend them in the shop part, where you can buy new things.
