Heroes of War is an engaging idle army strategy game that puts you in command of the American forces in a historical showdown against the Germans. As the commander, your mission is to lead your troops to victory through calculated tactics, battlefield control, and careful resource management. Every decision counts as you fight your way across Europe and beyond in a series of explosive campaigns.
Each level pits your base against an enemy headquarters, positioned on opposite sides of the screen. Your troops march from your side toward the center, clashing with enemy units. As you defeat them, you push the front lines forward. The ultimate goal of each battle is to destroy the enemy base by reducing its health bar to zero. But be careful, if your own base falls first, you lose the round.
Troop deployment is controlled from a panel at the bottom of the screen, where you can summon infantry, snipers, cannons, and tanks. Each unit costs energy to deploy, and your energy regenerates over time. You must balance your energy wisely, deciding when and how to release your forces for maximum effectiveness. Stronger enemies will challenge your timing and placement, demanding both patience and quick decisions.
To stay competitive, you can upgrade your troops in the Army menu. Earned money from victories can be used to level up your units, increasing their damage and durability. The further you progress in the campaign, the more essential upgrades become to surviving stronger waves of opposition.
In addition to campaign battles, Heroes of War features special missions that offer extra rewards and gameplay variety. These become available as you advance and complete key objectives. With a mix of idle mechanics and real-time strategy, this game offers exciting and accessible war simulation.
