Dungeon Duels is an intense competitive arena game that blends roguelike progression with fast-paced PvP strategy. Two players face off in a series of timed battles, each taking on a completely different role. One becomes the hero fighting for survival, while the other assumes the role of the dungeon master attempting to overwhelm the hero with enemies, traps, and spells.

The contrasting playstyles create a dynamic and unpredictable experience, ensuring that no two matches unfold the same way. In every match, Player 1 controls a lone hero who must survive for sixty seconds inside an increasingly hostile dungeon. While navigating the arena, the hero automatically attacks nearby enemies and earns experience points with every skeleton defeated.

As the hero levels up, their core stats improve, granting boosts to attack power, attack range, maximum health, and other essential attributes. These upgrades are crucial, because with each passing round the difficulty rises and the dungeon master’s threats become faster, stronger, and more numerous.

Meanwhile, Player 2 takes on the powerful role of the dungeon master, wielding complete control over the flow of the battle. Using a special interface on the right side of the screen, the dungeon master can drag enemies, traps, or unique spells directly onto the map. While basic skeletons spawn automatically, the placement of additional hazards is the key to victory. Strategic timing, clever positioning, and constant pressure are essential to prevent the hero from surviving until the timer runs out.

A full match consists of three rounds, each lasting sixty seconds, and both sides grow stronger with each phase. The hero becomes more capable through experience-based leveling, while the dungeon master’s creatures scale in power, turning the final round into a dramatic, high-stakes showdown. Victory ultimately goes to the player who adapts the fastest and uses their abilities in the most strategic way.
