In Gear Factory, you build a powerful coin-generating machine using interlocking gears in a deeply satisfying idle and incremental experience. What begins as a single spinning center gear on a small grid gradually transforms into a massive engine of profit, automation, and endless progression. The core gameplay revolves around buying gears and placing them on the board.
Any gear connected to the center gear, either directly or through a chain of adjacent gears, will spin and generate coins every second. Positioning matters, so arranging your factory efficiently becomes an important part of growth. Merging gears is the key to advancement. Drag one gear onto another matching gear to combine them into a stronger version. Two Wooden Gears become Copper, two Copper become Iron, and the chain continues through 30 powerful tiers all the way to the legendary Infinity Gear.
As your income rises, you can purchase upgrades that improve every aspect of production. Increase gear speed, boost coin output, and unlock automated systems such as the auto-buyer and auto-merger. These tools allow your factory to keep growing with minimal effort, making progression smoother and faster.
The game also includes prestige mechanics for long-term growth. Reset your board in exchange for Prestige Points, then spend them on permanent bonuses like larger grids, higher starting gear tiers, and new special mechanics. Later, reaching Tier 30 unlocks Ascension, a major reset that grants access to Multiplier Gears, which greatly enhance the income of connected gear chains.
Daily rewards and achievements add even more reasons to return. Claim escalating bonuses, complete milestones, and watch your numbers rise from hundreds to decillions and beyond. The controls are simple and intuitive. Tap or click to navigate menus, buy upgrades, and interact with systems. Drag and drop gears to move or merge them on the board. Have fun!
