Stellar Bastion is a 2D retro-inspired space tower defense game where strategy and tower combinations are the keys to survival. Set in a pixel-art sci-fi battlefield, your mission is to defend your base against relentless enemy waves using powerful futuristic defenses. Instead of relying only on upgrades, the game introduces a creative fusion system that rewards smart placement and experimentation.
You can build a wide range of towers, including lasers, cannons, tesla coils, slow towers, and missile launchers. Each tower has its own strengths, making positioning and balance essential. Some excel at damaging groups, while others slow enemies or deal heavy single-target attacks.
What makes Stellar Bastion stand out is its combo system. When towers are placed near one another, their attacks can combine into devastating super weapons. These fused effects create exciting tactical opportunities and turn standard defenses into battlefield-changing forces. There are 14 powerful combo weapons to discover, including destructive options such as Plasma Cannons, MIRVs, Black Holes, Nukes, and many more. Experimenting with tower placement is rewarded, as different combinations can completely change your defensive strategy.
The game features 6 unique maps, each requiring different layouts and tactical decisions. Enemy paths, available space, and tower positioning all matter, encouraging players to adapt their plans with every new battlefield. You will face 7 enemy types that grow stronger with each wave, increasing the challenge as the game progresses. To suit different playstyles, the game includes 3 difficulty modes ranging from 30 to 50 waves, along with an endless mode for players who want to test their long-term endurance.
All of this is presented in crisp retro pixel visuals that give the game classic arcade charm while keeping the action clear and satisfying. Controls are simple and intuitive. On desktop, use the Left Mouse Button to drag, drop, or place towers. On mobile, use touch controls to position defenses and manage your base.With creative tower fusion, deep strategy, and endless replay value, Stellar Bastion is a rewarding tower defense experience for strategy fans.
