In the moves mode you will be given a limited number of moves to achieve your goals, so you can’ t make more moves than the given ones, else you will lose the game. In the time mode you will play against the time, so you will have to do it before the time goes off. In both of the modes you will use the mouse to aim and shoot the stick into the balls, hitting them and making them reach and enter the holes on the sides of the pool table.
