T-Rex in the Office is a tense first-person survival adventure set in a place that should have been safe: a quiet research facility during a routine night shift. You play as an ordinary system administrator, one of millions, working late to keep experimental data secure. The pay is bad, the hours are worse, but the job is stable, or at least it was. With only three people in the building, nothing suggests that this night will be any different from the others.
Downstairs, the brilliant but absent-minded scientist continues his work, accompanied by Maya, his granddaughter and assistant, who makes sure he remembers basic human needs. Upstairs, among humming servers and blinking lights, you pass the time coding a personal project and dreaming about finally asking Maya out. Then, in an instant, everything changes. A blinding flash replaces the city skyline outside the window with a dark, unsettling forest. Something has gone terribly wrong, and you are no longer alone.
Soon you discover the real threat: a baby T-Rex roaming the building. Your goal is not to fight it, but to outsmart it. You must restore power to the elevator and lure the creature inside without becoming its next meal. Stealth, sound, and careful planning are your only weapons. The T-Rex reacts to noise, doors, vending machines, and water coolers can either distract it or draw it straight toward you.
Fire extinguishers are the only thing it truly fears, but they are limited and work for only a short time. Use them wisely. Movable objects can block paths or hold doors open, though chairs offer no real protection and are easily crushed. Every action has consequences, forcing you to think before you move.
The game builds tension through atmosphere, environmental storytelling, and sound design. Pager messages and hints help uncover what happened and guide your actions. With immersive first-person controls and a constant sense of danger, T-Rex in the Office turns an ordinary workplace into a nightmare of survival where intelligence matters more than strength.
