Planetary Defense is a fast-paced survival shooter that throws you into the role of humanity’s last shield against an endless cosmic assault. At the heart of the experience is a highly flexible, block-based building system that allows you to assemble and evolve a powerful battle machine entirely around your preferred playstyle. Every run begins with simple components, but quickly grows into a complex web of weapons, defenses, and economic upgrades that define how long you can survive.

The game revolves around modular blocks, each serving a distinct purpose. Weapon blocks unleash constant firepower, defense blocks improve durability and survivability, economy blocks boost your resource gain, and upgrade blocks enhance existing systems. By mixing and matching these elements, you can create wildly different builds, from aggressive glass cannons to slow, heavily fortified machines built to outlast the storm.

Combat takes place across multiple arenas, each featuring unique layouts, enemy behaviors, and escalating difficulty. You will face relentless waves of flying saucers, fast-moving attack drones, and deadly comets that threaten to overwhelm you from all directions. Positioning, movement, and sustained fire are crucial as the pressure steadily increases and mistakes become harder to recover from.

Between combat stages, you are given short upgrade breaks where strategy truly comes into play. Spend earned resources to buy new blocks, rearrange your setup, or merge identical blocks to evolve them into stronger versions. These moments of planning are essential, as adapting your build to the threats ahead often determines whether you survive the next wave or fall to it.

Planetary Defense rewards experimentation and quick thinking. No two runs are the same, and success comes from learning enemy patterns, optimizing your block layout, and reacting intelligently to ever-growing danger. Move with mouse / A–D / Left & Right Arrow Keys, Hold Left Click / Space to shoot, Drag Left Click to move and merge items during the upgrade stage.
