Careful positioning and smart investment are essential, as resources are limited and must be spent wisely. Each choice directly influences how strong your army will be once combat begins.
A unique mechanic sets Fall of the King apart from traditional strategy games: the movable Harvest Zone. Players can drag this zone across different tiles on the grid to extract resources exactly where they are needed most. This allows rapid shifts between economic growth and aggressive unit production. Mastering when and where to move the Harvest Zone becomes a critical skill, creating opportunities for clever optimization and explosive power spikes.
At the end of every sixty-second build phase, the game automatically transitions into battle. Units and defenses clash without player control, meaning the outcome is determined entirely by prior decisions. Positioning, upgrade timing, unit composition, and synergy all come together in a single decisive moment.
