This The Secret Flame is of course an adventure game and you are a soldier,or an adventurer as other characters in the game are going to refer to you, and you have a little magical flame which is always with you to help you in your challenges through your mission. 

Your mission is going to be a secret, but very important one. You need to find a cure and you can find out more about this throughout the game because you get to interact with other characters in the game. You can simply go close to other adventurers in your way and if you press the E button , you can talk to them and find out more about their story. 

But your story is to find the cure and this, as we said before, is not only an adventure but also a logical game in which you have to solve all kind of logical puzzles in your way in order to get to move forward. And you of course need to pay attention to your surroundings in the game to be able to solve the puzzles, but also talking to the other characters can also be really important because they can give you clues about what your next move should be. 

But as we said, you have a little magical flame with you here and you can use the fire powers of the flame at all steps of your way, like you get to cross a bride and you can only step on some of the stones, but you have to figure out which stones.
