In the beginning, the game itself is going to givr you all the instructions you need in order for you to know how you need to look for Mortimer.You can interact with other characters and with all kind of objects around you if you simply go near them. Some characters in the game are willing to help you and give you information , but some of them are also goign to ask for something, like a juice box or a candy. Then you need to look for that candy and you can get the help.
