After reading the book, Junior Rabbit becomes visibly shaken, convinced the Man is coming. Mamma tries to comfort him, but then there's a sudden knock at the window. It's not a coincidence. The story is real, and now the countdown begins. You have only five minutes to make a plan and protect both yourself and your child from being taken by the Man. The goal? Delay his search long enough so that he gives up and leaves.
The gameplay revolves around exploring your apartment, making use of everyday household items to create distractions or hiding places. You can hide in the bathtub, sneak under the bed, or block doors with furniture. However, every action takes time, and time is precious.
The book you find at the beginning contains riddles, and decoding them is essential to surviving. The Man follows a specific order when checking rooms, and the riddles reveal that sequence. Use this knowledge to create a path of distractions that leads him away from your real hiding spot. Each minute he spends investigating your traps buys you more time, and survival.
What makes The Man from the Window so compelling is how it combines atmosphere, simplicity, and clever logic into one tightly packed horror experience.
