Instead of controlling players directly on the pitch, you manage matches through carefully selected cards, formations, and tactical styles. Every game represents a full 90-minute football match condensed into a fast-paced experience that can be completed in just a few minutes, making it accessible while still delivering meaningful strategic choices.
Before each match begins, players must decide how they want their team to play. A variety of formations, including 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2, and 3-4-3, allow managers to focus on defensive stability, midfield control, or attacking pressure. In addition to formations, players choose a tactical style such as Tiki-taka, Counter-Attack, Gegenpressing, Route-One, All-Out Attack, or Balanced. These choices directly influence the cards available during the match and shape the overall flow of play.
Matches unfold through a turn-based card system where both players select cards simultaneously before revealing them. Each decision affects possession, field position, attacking opportunities, and defensive resistance. Players must navigate through three key areas of the pitch: defense, midfield, and attack.
Winning crucial exchanges allows the ball to progress forward, while poor decisions can lead to dangerous counterattacks or lost possession. The simultaneous card reveal mechanic creates tension and rewards players who can successfully anticipate their opponent's strategy.
The game features a wide variety of football-inspired cards that capture the essence of real tactical situations. Offensive cards such as Through Ball, Wide Play, Long Shot, Header, and Shot create scoring opportunities, while defensive options like Low Block, Pressing, Tackle, and High Press help neutralize attacks. Additional support and event cards introduce unexpected moments, including tactical adjustments, VAR reviews, time-wasting strategies, and other dramatic football scenarios that can completely change the outcome of a match.
