Ash & Copper is an action roguelite that takes you deep into a dangerous underground world filled with enemies, powerful upgrades, and challenging multi-phase bosses. Your hero attacks automatically, allowing you to focus on movement, positioning, abilities, and making the right decisions during every run. Dodge incoming attacks, dash away from danger, collect experience, and develop a powerful build as you descend deeper into the underground Well.
Combat revolves around choosing the right position and timing your abilities. While your hero automatically attacks nearby enemies, you control where the character moves and when to use powerful skills. Keep an eye on enemy movements, avoid dangerous attacks, and collect experience dropped during battles. Whenever you level up, choose new upgrades that can change how your character performs and help you survive increasingly difficult waves.
Throughout each run, you can discover relics and powerful upgrades that allow you to customize your combat style. Combine two active skills and enhance them using special genes to create stronger and more effective abilities. You can also unlock different classes, choose your route through the underground, and build your character around the abilities and upgrades you discover.
You can also choose how much danger you are willing to take. Calling the next enemy wave early gives you an additional reward, but it also means facing more enemies before you have had time to recover or prepare. When the option becomes available, you can even call all remaining waves at once. Use this mechanic carefully, because getting surrounded can quickly turn a successful run into a desperate fight for survival.
Between runs, the Copper you collect can be spent on permanent upgrades, allowing your hero to become stronger over time. Continue descending through dangerous arenas, defeat increasingly powerful enemies, and overcome multi-phase bosses on your way toward the First Smith and the final arena.
